Impact is a hugely creative and contemporary theatre company, founded by actress Amanda Noar and now in its 11th year. From humble beginnings with just a handful of locals, Impact has now evolved into a thriving and highly successful theatre company.

Based in Finchley - North London, the Company is essentially made up of amateurs, drama students and "resting pro's". Impact now has a dedicated group of performers aged between 16 and 70 and numbering between 40-60 and also a very loyal following in the community, which has resulted in sell out performances for all our shows. Our venue is the brand new “Artsdepot” main 400-seat Pentland theatre in Finchley.

Each year Impact puts together a number of activities, theatrical workshops, reviews, play readings and various fundraisers for both adults and children. The year always culminates in a major musical show, profits from which are donated to a nominated charity. To date we have raised over £80,000 for good causes including:

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, War Child, Cancer Care, Sargent Cancer Care for Children, Breast Cancer Unit - Northwick Park Hospital, Rett Syndrome Association, Karen Morris Memorial Trust, Haemappeal, Royal Free Hospital, Richard House Children's Hospice, Variety Club of Great Britain - Sunshine Coaches; Fight for Life - (Fighting Cancer in Kids.)

Impact’s patron, the actor Neil Morrissey, is much more than just a name at the top of our headed paper. Not only does he donate his time for fundraising events, he often attends rehearsals offering encouragement and professional advice. Even at the performances, you can sometimes catch him shaking a charity bucket or trying to charm you into buying raffle tickets.

Amanda Noar (Founder, Producer) has worked extensively in theatre, television and film, both as an actress and as a director/choreographer. Television work includes; Melanie Norriss in Casualty; Natasha Glendenning in Lovejoy; Sally in Boon; Norma in Stay Lucky; Helen Carson in Starting Out; Julie Clay in Coronation Street; Susan in The Benefit; Donna in Out on the Floor, Rose Finnigan in Brookside and most recently Leticia in Hollyoaks.

Impact is proud to announce its next musical extravaganza “Fiddler on the Roof” in March 2007.
