Garden Theatre Company was started in 2004, to give talented
youngsters
in the area a chance to shine along side our older actors.
Our first show Godspell, a show staged at the Jubilee Gardens
in Ely
as part of the Summer Festival, was extremely well received.
In the Summer of 2005 we staged Carousel in the gardens,
which met
with huge critical acclaim.
This was followed in December 2005 by
BUGSY MALONE at the Maltings, Ely.
This was a resounding success
and
all credit goes to the cast for their dedication and hard work
December 2006 saw a production of
Singin' in the Rain at the Hayward Theatre, Ely.
Another successful show
and
thanks to the cast for their dedication and hard work
and everyone else who helped.
As ever Garden Theatre Company are never ones to rest on their
laurels,
so there are now several new and exciting opportunities
in the pipeline and this is the place to hear about them.
