Can anyone help me clarify a rumour? Namely that Les Mis is due to come off in the West End in a month and that it has already been given to a Nottingham amateur society to perform. Now I'm fairly sure that it's the BROADWAY version that's coming off in a month and that there are not yet any plans to close Les Mis here but can anyone shed any light?

It's for selected "youth groups" only apparently...

That said, there is a professional touring production as well.

Have a friend in the current West End production, whose contract is a long way from being up.
