blink.gif Hello all, Does anyone have any tips on nailing accents? We are hoping to do 'popcorn' and individually most of the cast (with one honorable exception) have some sort of accent but put together they just sort of clash somehow. I don't know why since people can have different accents but maybe they are all putting each other off? Anyway any tips, techniques or advice gratefully recieved,
thanks,
MOZ

Hey Marie,

The link which Eeyore has given you IS a great place to start. We had a lot of fun discussing that thread.

Marie,

I missed the previous thread, so I'll give you my reply now. I try and pick up an accent, by getting a video. I join in with what the character is saying, several times over.

However Popcorn hasn't been made into a movie yet, so no video available.

But have just seen on Amazon, that there is an audiobook.
