One of the channels on one of our dimmer packs has started to continually blow fuses (with a small amount of added pyrotechnic for effect). Another channel on the same pack produces a flickering output even when the channel control is zeroed. These are very old packs (have analog control input) and cant be dismounted from the wall they are very securely bolted to. Can anyone recommend a company that would be prepared to come out and fix them ? We're based in Hertfordshire.

At a guess I would say these are old Strand packs and it is the capacitor gone, which they always do by exploding. Actually assuming it is that it would be simple for anyone to mend. When I got my company I inherited a number of these packs but have never used them. Moved them on to a good home! I think I still have spare caps though! Where are you in Herts?
