I'm looking for sheet music for "What is this feeling" from Wicked. However, I need a specific arrangement. The Piano/Vocal selection doesn't have the speech from "Dearest Mummy and Popsicle..." and I would like to have a fuller counterpoint selection - the PV selection only has the two leads and not the chorus parts (lots of "Loathings.." apparently.

If anyone has an idea of where I can get this, please let me know. As far as I can see, musicroom.com has a downloadable copy but it's just the PV selection which we already have.

Hope this makes sense... Thanks

Hi,
Sadly unless you're in the professional production you will not be able to get your hands on this copy. However, all you need to do is listen to the CD and play along as it's not difficult. The counterpoint needs to be listened to with the company you're doing it with. The other alternative is to email Stephen Schwartz direct - I know someone who did and they managed to get extra info and music when he was doing Children of Eden this year.

Hope this is of some help.... wink.gif

I imagine you've sent him the pdf of the production vocal score? Such things may be found in the newsgroup: alt.binaries.sheet-music or the Yahoo Groups mail list: broadwayscoresandsheetmusic.

Can we bypass the (possibly inevitable) discussion regarding whether they SHOULD be available there? Suffice it to say, they ARE :-)
AAF
No I haven't and I didn't know it was available. I've not seen the show or the vocal score - but it's a great song! AAF

Oh, alright then. So he still wants it? Your rather cryptic message stopped me sending him it :-)

Just for the record, I wasn't aware of the vocal score pdf being available on newsgroups, and that's not what AAF was emailing me about. But thanks for the input. As far as I am aware, the only published version is the Piano-Vocal arrangement. Cheers, Rob.
