Please can anyone give me the name of a play, set in a village hall, we believe during a Committee meeting? Apparently to add to the confusion a young lad is hiding in the rafters and keeps joining in the arguments. or has my husband dreamed the whole thing?

We think it may be a one act - may be not.

The Last Bread Pudding by Nick Warburton.

Is set in a hall and is about a committee meeting. (no boy hidding in the rafters though)

He has also written several other plays where the plot revolves around an amdram group and some kind of meeting.

There are many others set in village halls (The Crying Dame, for example).
The boy in the rafters sounds familiar, but I can't place it!

Yeah, Warburton's one act Melons at the Parsonage, set during a drama festival is extremely funny....
