This is something that you may want to consider going to a specialist audio dealer.

Most DJ equipment is remote and has the appropriate speed controls, they are farily small and of course portable. You should be able to pick one up fairly cheaply or if you are lucky they will have a second hand one.

Unfortunately not knowing your area too well, I cannot really advise much more.

Try ringing a local mobile DJ and asking where they buy their equipment from?
