Hey guys
Well tonight we cast our show and are about to embark on rehearsals next Sunday. I was wondering if anyone had ever md'd the show before and if I could pick your brains!
The 1st thing I wanted to know is if people agreed with Weinberger and played instead of coducted? I think the score is quite tricky and may require a conductor.
The 2nd thing is I was wondering if anyone had midi files/backing tracks. I normally do them, but I'm swamped with 2 pantos and being on stage myself! If anyone has a copy or could put me in touch with someone that would be ace as I can only play 1 song at a time!

The only backing tracks we had are not the same as the score so not really any use. Sorry.

I'm norally don't use accompanists. I think just cos there is a lot of dance numbers and i'm not going to be able to play all the time as I'll be working with principals!
