Help! Anyone got an old fashioned camera on a tripod?
We're in Swansea, Wales but don't mind a trip to collect and drop back....depending on how far away!

Thanks

Age type of camera ??

I have a wooden 1930s - 50s Tripod, small belows flip open camera, various box cameras, some quite old and an adapted one for stage use to look a bit like a 1930s - 40s press camera with big frame viewfinder and working flash, -- and only half the distance to Buccs!

No big wooden plate camera though I'm afraid.

No, it's just that in the classified ads section all posts have to be verified.

If you want a film camera, there's a lovely one in Leicester that we used for Singin' in the Rain. If it's not too far for you (I guess it probably is!), it's Leicester Drama Society (0116 255 1302).

Forgot to add another thing...

We needed a "period" tripod a while back but used a modern black one in the end. If the camera on the top is sufficiently "period", unlikely the audience will notice.

Easier to make one...

Get down a junk shop and get a really old
large camera you cab butcher..

Wooden box.... Dark brown wood.. 8 inches by 8 by 10 tall.

Black Cloth hung over the back.

A lens (from the old camera)...

Some even come with the bellow type lens that
some old fold up cameras have.

Butcher the bellow as well..

Tripod is difficult but surely someone can butcher
an old Artist tripod thing...

If you can't get out, drop me a line and I'll sort one for you.

I also have a large tripod, actually a theodolite stand. If you pm me your postcode I might be able to carrier it to you for ?5 out ?10 back (just the way the system works)

When do you need it? Also have the lighter weight camera tripod. Probably cost the same though.
