Simon
We are aware of a JavaScript error on the forum which may cause problems when inserting links, email adresses and smileys etc.

We are currently looking into this problem and it should be addressed shortly.

In the meantime we apologise for any incovenience!
Zorro
This only applies to using the buttons. You can still add them by typing the BB code yourself.
Zorro
One minor issue that also occured with the old forum is that even after you have read all the topics in a forum the forum doesn't mark itself as read unless you click the "mark all posts as read" link.
ChrisD
The text size is rather small!!!! Am I going to have to get some glasses??
Simon
The text is a standardised size that should be OK for everyone to use. I can appreciate that some people may find this a little small. The problem is that the layout of the forum can be affected by increasing the font size.
Anne-Marie
I do agree with ChrisD that the fonts are very small on the main pages, but they're a perfectly reasonable size once the threads are up. I can see what you mean Simon, about increasing the size affecting the layout - I think it's fine really.
Ryano
Is there a problem with the board today. I get intermittant 'page not found' errors and there seems to be a number of 'double postings' going on.
George
I can't seem to search...

I've lost my Digital Photographs thread and can't find it...

George,

Most topics are archived after a certina period of time.

You may want ot look in the archive............. smile.gif

As for the search, you need to let me know the error message that you are getting! blink.gif
Zorro
The server reset the connection (without changing page) as soon as I pressed the reply button on the post page. Oddly enough, my reply still made it into the database.
Simon
I believe that Jane is aware of this problem....... wink.gif
Anne-Marie
It's happening frequently today as well. Never mind, a bad workman blames his tools and all that.....we'll cope.
Ryano
Perhaps it's because you lot keep posting so much rubbish! wink.gif
Simon
laugh.gif I don't write rubbish but I can sure name a few............... laugh.gif

No, it's an observation. I'm allowed them aren't I? I'm I going to have the post police on my case now! Blimey, strewth, I weren't me, straight up guv, I've been framed! cool.gif
Maureen
Har har har, Ryano's is in a strop and a half today!

Will it make you feel better if I come over to your place dressed as post policewoman? But no handcuffs.
Ryano
Actually, I'm in a really good mood today! If fact the reason for it will appear shortly on the learning lines thread.
Simon
Please can people keep normal conversation within the confines of "The Meeting Place"

This topic is for discussing Problems with the NEW Forum.... thanks!
Zorro
Simon - Can I request that you DELETE the off-topic posts in this thread, including this one. Otherwise everyone visiting this thread has to trawl through them.
Simon
Unfortunately, there is a general forum etiquette to try and keep general chat to "The Meeting Place" forum.

It is only a general etiquette and not something we can enforce with a steel rod.

These posts will be left for a few days and then deleted.
