Hi, I'm planning a charity custard pie throwing event later this year and i'm wondering about using a custard pie foam, that is sold by Kave theater supplies http://www.kave.co.uk/Kave_New/sales/sundries.htm Item number 1204-0022.

Has anyone here used this substance and it is any good? Is the consistancy of the pie similar to shaving foam? (I used shaving foam last year).

Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

I don't know about the consistency of the Kave product but I do know from bitter experience that shaving foam sting like **** if it gets in your eyes so use it with caution.

I used shaving foam last year and received around 50 pies, I found the stinging was not too bad, the foam was emptied into buckets with some food colourant then mixed with a plaster mixer and left for a short time and it was fine.
