As posted on another thread, we are hoping to have a snail race night in May. Now, this is technically gambling- what is the legal position? It will be in a venue open to members only, and we are a non-profit organisation, but is there likely to be a problem? I would have thought that such a popular fundraising scheme would be ok, but a few doubts are starting to creep in. Any advice?
