I wonder if anyone could help out with locating a set of graduation caps and gowns for our forthcoming production of "Fame" at Mossley AODS, Greater Manchester. The script requires them to be in any colour except the traditional black - red or blue would be ideal as per American ceremonies, but bright pink with yellow spots would also be considered.........(!) - you get the picture.....

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

You could try the Am Dram Production resource area http://www.amdram.co.uk/prods_search.html and search for groups who have carried out this production in your area and maybe contact them.

You could try the University of Surrey who have just completed a run of Fame (finished on 1st feb) As a bit of advice they might be glad to get rid of stuff - I've had some good set for free (I didn't tell you that though )
