Hi
Anyone got any useful tips for ladies wear in the Victorian Age? Bustles, accessories, hats etc.
We may need to make the ladies costumes, evening wear, day dresses etc. Any patterns on the internet or any books we could check?
(We have got library books out but we ideally want dressmaking patterns)
Many thanks
Louise

Should have put this in the costume-help forum. Sorry.

Hi Louise. Almost all pattern books in dressmakers shops have a section on Fancy Dress, with the patterns you require. Usually they have to order them in, though, as they're not used often and are therefore expensive to stock. Any department store should have a fabrics department who can help.
