Having looked at the above i could do with putting in something for one or a couple of solo kids (who are v v strong) a romantic duet for two strong singers, and a solo or duet prinicpally for a very 'theatery type' voiced guy.
George
Kids love "One Brick at a Time"... Barnum....
Roy
I can't really add anything, just that it looks impressive so far cool.gif
George
"Hard Knock Life" from Bugsy is also a good one for kids..

They love it for some reason...

Can't stand that one either... smile.gif

Great ideas. How about something from Whistle down the Wind or Honk for the kids.
Maureen
Act One looks very strong but there's quite a bit in the fantasy section that people won't know. Brain not functioning at the moment so can't think of things you CAN put in - and I realise that's not helpful! Sorry! Will think....
George
For Fantasy...

"Rythm of life...."

thanks guys.

the fantasy is all fairly new ish, could throw in some lil shop i suppose.

i like the idea of Honk as well, i loved that show. Cant wait for 'Just So' to come out.

(And George, yeah, Hard knock is from Annie, and my kids have done the show, and i've indoctrinated them all into hating it biggrin.gif )

will keep working on it

How about a couple of "Wizard of Oz" numbers in the section before your "Wicked" section ?

I find Somewhere over the rainbow a little trite and overdone personally but a rousing chorus of kids doing "Ding dong the witch is dead" leading into the wicked stuff might be rather fun.
Anne-Marie
our youth group did some fun stuff...the theme tune of "Friends" went down well. Also the song "Mums & Dads" from "Blitz" is a real show stealer - and easy.

After watching Madness's "Our House" on DVD over the weekend how about adding a madness section for your reality bit - some of their songs (not just those in our house) are just begging to be dramatised.
