Anthology of Poetry

John Silkstone is publishing an anthology of poetry for a worthy cause run by BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s Gold Appeal and is asking for poems on any subject no longer than 24 lines
There is no entrance fee; however, the books will cost £8.99 which includes package and postage. After purchasing the first book, extra copies can be ordered at the reduced cost of £6.99. The closing date 1st September 2006.

All profits from the sale of the book will go to the BBC Radio Lincolnshire Gold Appeal. The only ones to gain from the sale of the book are the children. (The Gold Appeal raises money to take deserving children to Lapland to see Father Christmas.

White Light's Training Programme

Following the success of White Light’s Training Programme for the first half of 2006 it has now been extended until December 2006. The programme contains various basic and advanced courses on popular lighting consoles, moving lights and a number of other topics.
The courses are generally one day and based at White Light’s Wimbledon office and run from 10am until 4pm. The costs vary but start from £25 with the average around £80.

White Light Graduates Day

White Light would like to invite you to this year's White Light Graduates Day. The day is open to anyone contemplating a design or technical career in the entertainment lighting industry. The open day gives guest ‘hands-on’ access to some of the latest lighting products from a range of manufactures as well as career advise through Q&A session and seminars with a number of leading figures from the lighting industry. The day will be at White Light’s Wimbledon office and will run from 11am until 5pm on the 7th June. Advert On Dublin Stage

Dublin and London have got together and produced a new advert highlighting the similarities between the two Cities. However, this is not for television, but for the theatre. The advert will run for three minutes and will premiere at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre before touring to Hamburg, New York and Pittsburgh.
