ACT 11 (formerly Adelphi Drama Company)

Wickford, Essex

Formed in 1997, the ACT11 grew out of the Adephi Players to take part in local drama festivals. The group works with The Billericay Arts Association at "The Fold" in the town, where they meet on Tuesdays at 8p.m..

Members come from Billericay itself, Hornchurch, Basildon and Rayleigh, and include a diverse range of individuals - from a professional writer, a festival expert, people with backgrounds in radio, tv and the theatre, to people with no stage experience at all. The group welcomes new prospective members of all kinds - an interest in the theatre is the only essential.
